The Framework Was Built By Someone Who Had To Live It First

Liliana Baxi understands the gap that can exist between external success and internal fulfilment.

Her hero’s journey involved rejecting the religious and societal conservatism of her cultural upbringing, embracing capitalism and western individualism only to find that material success did not automatically create internal alignment; and eventually finding her way back to spirituality through re-training and re-skilling in Jungian Psychology, Trauma Informed Neuroscience, Vedic Philosophy, and Western Spirituality.

The Framework Was Built By Someone Who Had To Live It First

Whether you are exploring one of the Quantum Alchemy applications, seeking organisational support, or interested in collaborating on research, education, speaking, or outreach initiatives, we invite you to get in touch.

Meet Liliana Baxi

A life unexpected.

A successful legal career, global experience, and professional achievement created many opportunities, but they did not explain fulfillment, identity, or the patterns shaping my life.

In a case of life imitating art, I am an interesting mix of things you would not necessarily expect to belong together.

A childhood divided between Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s spiritual teachings at his ashram in Zurich, Switzerland, and a large extended Indian family across India and England.

A successful international career as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer and trusted business advisor, operating in complex, high-performance environments where multi-million dollar decisions rested on my judgment.

A devoted mother raising happy, grounded, high-potential children through migration, multicultural integration, multi-generational family dynamics, divorce, and co-parenting.

And a committed adventurer who has been exploring the world independently since the age of sixteen. For most of my life, I was fascinated by a single question:

Why do people behave the way they do? That question followed me through law, business, psychology, neuroscience, spirituality, relationships, parenting, leadership, and ultimately back to myself.

External Success Could Not Answer Internal Questions

From the outside, my life looked successful. I had built an internationally recognised career, travelled the world, raised children, and created a life many people would have considered successful. Yet beneath that success sat a quieter reality.

At any given moment, I was managing countless invisible emotional priorities, responsibilities, and expectations while carrying a persistent question:

Am I enough?

At the time, I believed my struggle was impatience, rebellion, a short temper, or a tendency to challenge authority.

What I eventually discovered was something very different.

I was exhausted by self-abandonment.

I had become exceptionally skilled at navigating complexity everywhere except within myself.

The turning point arrived through the collapse of an identity I had spent years building. Pregnancy, working motherhood, migration, loss, career transition, autoimmune disease, and the breakdown of a fifteen-year marriage forced me to confront a deeply unsettling truth.

I no longer recognised him.

Because I no longer recognised myself.

What followed was not simply healing.

It was reconstruction.

Transfer of skill sets

People often assume Quantum Alchemy emerged in opposition to my legal career. The opposite is true.

Years spent advising within high-stakes mergers, acquisitions, and corporate environments developed a deep understanding of systems, pattern recognition, decision-making, and complexity.

How to identify competing interests. How to navigate conflict.

How to recognise what makes plans execute and function effectively.

How to restructure something that no longer works into something that does.

What attracted me to mergers and acquisitions was never the transaction itself.

It was the challenge of helping a collection of moving parts operate coherently toward a shared outcome.

Years later, I realised the same principles existed inside people.

Conflicting beliefs. Competing emotional loyalties. Internal negotiations. Unresolved tensions. Contradictory needs.

Identity structures trying to preserve themselves.

The systems were different.

The patterns were remarkably familiar.

Quantum Alchemy combines systems thinking, emotional intelligence, behavioural observation, and lived experience into a framework for understanding how people, families, and organisations create the realities they inhabit.

Because coherence is not accidental.

It is constructed.

What changed for me?

The most significant discovery of my life was that the same emotional experiences continued appearing through different people, places, and circumstances.

Different faces. Different locations. Different stories.

The same emotional themes.

Eventually, something inside me paused and said:

“I’ve seen this scene before, and it doesn’t belong in this movie.”

That moment changed everything.

For the first time, I stopped asking:

Why does this keep happening to me?

And started asking:

Why does this keep happening through me?

The answer led into years of study, experimentation, observation, and reconstruction.

Not managing behaviours. Understanding them.

Not suppressing emotions. Interpreting them.

Not recovering from experiences. Understanding the identities that created them.

The result was a complete reorganisation of my internal and external world.

Relationships changed.

Family dynamics changed.

Work changed.

The way I experienced myself changed.

Not because life became perfect.

Because it became coherent.

Why I started Quantum Alchemy Lab

This should read as follows:

Quantum Alchemy was never supposed to become a business.

If I am honest, my original plan was considerably simpler.

Recover from my divorce. Buy a bookshop near the beach. Disappear into a quiet life.

The universe appeared to have other ideas.

What began as personal reconstruction gradually became something larger.

People started finding me. Conversations became consultations. Consultations became transformations.

The framework continued evolving. The results continued appearing.

Long before there was a company, there were clients.

Long before there was a website, there was already a body of work.

Long before there was a name, there was already a framework.

Eventually, it became impossible to deny what had already happened.

Quantum Alchemy Lab did not emerge because I decided to create a business.

It emerged because reality had already begun using the framework long before it was formally given shape.

The greatest irony is that after spending decades searching for answers through achievement, responsibility, performance, relationships, spirituality, and success, I eventually discovered what I had been looking for all along.

I just wanted to go home.

Not to a place.

To myself.

Quantum Alchemy exists because I found my way back.

And because I believe others can too.
